The crystal clear sea that Čista Beach derives its name from, thus becoming one of the most popular beaches on the island of Pag, provides complete enjoyment. The beach is located in the north-western part of Pag Bay, 5 km away from Novalja in the direction of Pag. On the way from the main road to the beach, the surrounding drystone walls testify to the former way of life of Pag’s peasants. The seabed is covered with fine gravel and sand, so visitors can have fun playing picigin, and families with young children can carelessly enjoy their summer vacation. The beach offers views of a blue and white contrast of the horizon that captivates with its spectacular beauty. Above the blue sea of Pag Bay rises the rocky area of the island, where the villages of Vidalići, Kustići, Zubovići and Metajna are located. Over the whiteness of the rocks stands Velebit Mountain, resembling to a shield of a caring guard. Visitors can find refreshment at a nearby restaurant or entertain themselves with various amenities that can be rented on the beach, and above the beach there is a parking lot. The long pebble beach is exposed to the sun without natural shade, so using sun protection is strongly recommended.
